If you're purchasing a property in Riverside, Orange, or San Diego County, California, then you have probably already been told by family, friends, and hopefully your Realtor, about the importance of getting a home inspection. However, if you're new to the area, or the home-buying experience, you may have some questions. Because I have years of experience in the home building industry, I wanted to help answer a few home inspection questions you might have.
1. What's included in a home inspection?
As a Certified Professional Inspector with Certified Inspection Services, LLC. I will meet you at the residential property and check the overall condition of the home’s structure and systems—that’s standard for all my residential property inspections. However, Certified Inspection Services LLC. also includes some services not even offered by other inspectors. Included with your home inspection is a Thermal Imaging Scan, Irrigation System Inspection, and Fire Sprinkler Test at no additional charge. I also offer additional services like pool inspection, or even mold testing, if needed, for a nominal additional charge.
2. Do I need to be at the inspection?
I use the latest tools and technology to get the most accurate results possible. I encourage you to attend your inspection so that I can describe my process, explain my findings, point out important maintenance items, and answer all of your questions.
3. When will I receive my Inspection Report?
After the inspection is completed, I will provide you with a full report of the home’s condition, including photos, video, and detailed notes, within 24 hours. You will receive an e-mail with a link to your report that can be printed, or viewed on any mobile device.
